So many delicious smart choices, I need to investigate more uses of okra. Usually fried around me in the south and I do so love especially gumbo. I'll bake extra sweet potatoes and put some in my smoothies and or use canned pumpkin. Oh oh the pears. I love in my salads but have been peeling because of that texture, I'll try to leave on.πŸ˜‰ We had a supplier who gifted us pears from Harry and David, my favorite ever. Thku for the many ideas.

Harry and David have the best pears! I love their gift baskets ☺️. Sweet potato & pumpkin in smoothies is the best because they help make the smoothie super creamy! I like to make one with dates, sweet potato, cacao and hemp seeds- talk about fiber maxing 🀭. It’s yummy!

I’m glad you enjoyed the article!πŸ’•

I've been working with a dietician on how to naturally lose weight. She suggested fiber and came up with overnight oats and beans in my salads. Thanks for your additional suggestions. I'll have to give them a try!

Hi Pam! I love that you’re working with a dietitian and finding what works for you and that the additional ideas were helpful too. There are so many simple ways to sneak more fiber and plant diversity into your day without completely changing the way you eat. I hope you find a few new favorites!
